What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of text stored by your browser. They can remember a choice or help a service recognise a browser. Session storage is a related browser-storage technology limited to a browsing session. This policy covers both.
Why OSAM uses them
Essential storage keeps your cookie choices consistent across our English, Malay and Chinese pages. With your permission, Google Analytics helps us understand visits and interactions, and Google Ads measures advertising and conversions. You can use our public pages, enquiry form and contact links without accepting optional cookies.
Your categories and choices
Strictly Necessary Cookies are always enabled to remember your consent and operate the site. Analytics, Marketing and Advertising, and Preference Cookies are optional and off by default. No preference cookies are currently set. Accept All enables every optional category; Reject Non-Essential leaves only essential storage enabled. Save Preferences applies only your selected categories. Closing the panel, scrolling or browsing does not give consent.
Cookies and similar storage
The table lists OSAM’s consent storage and cookies associated with the Google services enabled by your choices. Advertising cookies marked “where used” depend on Google’s features, the browser and your ad interaction; they are not necessarily present on every visit. Browser settings can shorten retention. Google may refresh its cookies during a permitted return visit.
When tracking starts and stops
OSAM uses basic Google Consent Mode v2. Analytics and advertising consent signals start as denied, and Google tracking scripts are blocked until the relevant permission is given. Analytics permission does not enable the Google Ads configuration, and Marketing permission does not enable the Analytics configuration. We do not install Meta Pixel. Our locally hosted videos do not require advertising consent.
Change or withdraw consent
Use Cookie Settings in any page footer to change your choices, then select Save Preferences or Reject Non-Essential. Consent signals update immediately. Turning off an active tracking category refreshes the page to stop the previously loaded scripts, and OSAM deletes accessible first-party cookies for the withdrawn categories. We cannot erase data already received by a provider or cookies on another provider’s domain. You can remove those through your browser settings and contact us about existing personal data.
How long we remember your choice
Your choice is saved in a Secure, SameSite=Lax cookie limited to this website for 180 days from the last time you save it. We ask again when it expires, is deleted or the consent-policy version changes. No name, email address or advertising identifier is stored in the consent record. If your browser blocks the cookie, session storage is used where available; otherwise the choice applies only to the current page. Optional tracking remains blocked if the consent controls cannot load.
Other services and provider information
Opening WhatsApp, social-media links or other external websites takes you to services with their own privacy policies. Enquiry details are processed to respond to your request, independently of optional tracking consent.
